ALEX VAN ZANT
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Global Business at Rutgers Business School. I hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where I specialized in Organizational Behavior. My research uses insights and theory from social psychology to understand how people choose to deceive, express confidence, and modulate their nonverbal behavior to influence others. It has been published or accepted for publication in journals such as Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Psychological Science, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, and Journal of Experimental Social Psychology.
